Hennessey unveils a new department and its first creation.
Based in Sealy, Texas, Hennessey has spent nearly 35 years being one of the world’s premier specialists in ultimate performance engineering, showing off American performance at its highest echelon with its custom creations and hypercar masterpieces. However, Hennessey has now announced a new division: Hennessey Defense Systems. The new division will specialize in creating vehicles for the defense sector, and its first vehicle, a light strike-force vehicle, the Hennessey WARHAWK, has been unveiled, with its debut set to take place on January 21 at the 2025 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.
Based on the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, the new Hennessey WARHAWK benefits from being lighter and faster than other vehicles in the same sector. Various upgrades from Hennessey make the WARHAWK highly capable of meeting various needs for Special Operations, SWAT Team transportation, or sportsmen. A modular system allows the bed to carry supplies, weaponry, or medical equipment.
The upgrades also include armoring, off-road run-flat tires, and even a possible diesel or kerosene-based fuel conversion for battlefield use. Interest in the new Hennessey WARHAWK has already been secured from the defense, public, and private sectors, with orders being taken for fleets and individuals. As the vehicle prepares for its highly anticipated Las Vegas debut, anticipation is building for what Hennessey Defense Systems creates next.
