The Crab Walk is insane to see in action.
We’ve known about the new 2022 Hummer EV Pickup for quite some time, but we’re now finally able to see it in action. InsideEVs’ Tom Moloughney recently went out to GM’s Milford, Michigan proving grounds to drive the EV Hummer and see if it lives up to the hype. In the First Drive video up above, you’ll see Tom take the Hummer through different courses that showcase its different abilities. There’s off-roading, hillclimbing, rockclimbing and so much more to be seen. My two favorite parts had to be seeing the Crab Walk in action and the Watts To Freedom launch mode. While I knew what the Crab Walk system was capable of, seeing the massive EV Hummer drive side-to-side was bizarre to watch. As for the Watts To Freedom launches, it’s hard to believe a vehicle that big and heavy can be that quick. Check it all out for yourself in the video up above.
