Some of the most coveted Jaguars of the 1950s and 1960s had one thing in common: their engine. That engine was actually the 3.8-liter XK engine block and it’s being brought back after 50 years of being unavailable new. This engine was used in cars like the XK150, XK150 S, MkIX, Mk2, MkX, E-type Series 1 and S-type. Now, collectors of these cars can provide documentation to prove vehicle ownership and Jaguar Classic will actually sell it to them. The engine block is a direct replace and is completely brand-new. Each engine block will come with a minimum 12-months Jaguar parts and accessories warranty, as well as a certificate of authenticity. It’s price is set at £14,340, which equates to around $17,800 USD. For more information, click here.
