Electric Jeep Wrangler– Why has it taken almost 8 decades for this to happen? The new Jeep can run on battery power for 22 miles. Because it is still a Jeep, those miles can be deep in the woods or blasting across the high plains. A 4-cylinder turbo engine and a six-speed manual can be locked in 4LO to send 470 lb-ft of torque to all wheels.
