Before I even start, let me just tell you that I don’t need any more proof to the know that the Koenigsegg Regera is one of the meanest sounding cars, ever.
In a video that YouTuber Bo Bah uploaded Oct. 4, we get one of our first glimpses of the Regera actually in action. So far, we’ve only seen it starting up and cruising, but this video shows the megacar actually pushing itself a bit down Koenigsegg’s private runway-one of the perks of owning your own automobile manufacturer.
What you’re hearing in the video is a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine that works in cooperation with three electric motors. This results in over 1,500 hp and 1,475 lb-ft of torque. Koenigsegg claimed in the original press release it is “the king of the road, as the fastest accelerating, most powerful production car ever.”
