Christian von Koenigsegg tried to purchase Saab from GM back in the financial collapse of 2009, but the bean counters couldn’t find common ground. NEVS ended up with the rights for Saab, so this investment allows for the sharing of electric and hybrid technology between Koenigsegg and the Chinese/Japanese consortium that owns Saab.
