Koenigsegg has introduced the Regera to the world, and we are all as excited as can be. It packs a unique electric and combustion engine drivetrain that produces over 1,500 hp, prompting the Swedish manufacturer to announce that it is the fastest and highest-powered series production car ever. But, with such great accolades, comes hefty price tags.
The car itself has a starting price of $1,890,000, and that is before you calculate in taxes, fees and options. If you decide to drop the dollars on the car, but change your mind on your model’s paint finish after the cut-off date, chosen by Koenigsegg, you’ll have to pay even more.
According to a March 11 post by Carbuzz.com, who spoke with Koenigsegg’s Sales Directors, Andreas Petre and Tariq Ali, customers who change their mind about the paint after the cut-off date will have to fork over €60,000 (approx. $63,000).
