Ed Bolian Offers $100K To Whoever Can Find A Lost Manual Lamborghini Murcielago SV

Especially since Lamborghini has announced the exit of the “pure” naturally aspirated V12 engine from the engine bays of its flagship models, the already-fervent appreciation for those supercars has grown even more, and car enthusiasts around the world hail Lamborghini for creating the ultimate driver-focused performance machines. The manual transmission is incredibly rare in modern supercars, and it has been that way for a long time, which is why the incredibly rare manual transmission-equipped Lamborghini Murcielago is a true dream car.

Ed Bolian, the founder of VINwiki, the app dedicated to discovering and documenting the stories of rare cars, has always seen the manual transmission Murcielago as his dream car, and through his love for the car, set out to find all 4,099 Lamborghini Murcielago VINs. Through a dealer in Germany, Bolian was able to obtain a previously lost 98-page document of VINs. Through this list, posts of VINs on the VINwiki app, and other help, Ed Bolian was able to determine that two newly-discovered manual Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 SVs exist.

With this in mind, Bolian has decided that this is his dream car to the point that whoever can provide useful information leading him to buy either of the cars could win $100,000. Their rarity and notoriety of them have led them to recently become multi-million dollar collectors’ pieces, and regardless of whoever owns or ends up buying this incredibly rare masterpiece, witnessing it see the light of day would be a dream come true for automotive enthusiasts all over the world.
