3,000 Horsepower Lamborghini Gallardo Hits 250+ MPH, Breaks World Record

A new record for the Gallardo.

Without tunes and upgrades, the Lamborghini Gallardo is supposed to have a top speed of just over 200 mph. Having that kind of top speed in the early 2000s was and still is an impressive feat. Now, well over a decade after the Gallardo was released, many owners have taken the supercar to the next level through a series of upgrades. Gidi, a man who has become synonymous with world record top speeds, recently took his 3,000 horsepower out to see how fast it could go in a 1/2-mile. YouTube Channel 1320video was on hand to see and film Gidi’s passes, hoping to catch a world record pass on camera. Since Gidi already held the record for the fastest Gallardo in a 1/2-mile, any record that he would break would just be him putting more distance between him and the next person. Well, he did manage to break his record and hit an astonishing speed of over 250 mph. You can see it for yourself in the video up above.
