The Lamborghini Huracán will be on its way out very soon, and with it, the era of “pure” naturally-aspirated V10-powered supercars from Lamborghini will end, with the Huracán’s replacement set to be powered by a hybrid V10 powertrain. However, the Gallardo, the Huracán’s predecessor, is certainly worthy of reverence and celebration as well, especially when it comes to the high-performance variants that were revealed towards the end of the Gallardo’s lifespan within Lamborghini’s lineup.
Not long before the Huracán took the Gallardo’s place, Lamborghini revealed a lightweight, high-performance version of the Gallardo that combined racing-inspired thrill with a convertible roof, making for an incredible and exhilarating driving experience, and that version was the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante. An open-top and V10 high performance instantly made it a timeless thriller.
The Spyder Performante was based on the LP 570-4 Superleggera, the second version of the Gallardo Superleggera that offered a lightweight, focused approach to the Gallardo’s V10 performance. The Performante featured a stunning fixed wing, 562 horsepower, and a 3.2-second 0-60 time with a 204-mph top speed.
With performance and looks that still impress among some of today’s most exclusive and desirable supercars, this beautiful example of the 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 is listed for sale. It boasts an elegant white exterior with the Performante’s signature stripes on the hood, with gunmetal grey wheels and a carbon fiber fixed spoiler. The interior is featured in sleek black Alcantara, with carbon fiber accents throughout, showing off its high-performance focus. With just 4,000 miles on its odometer, this is an excellent example of one of Lamborghini’s proudest open-top V10-powered supercars.
