Lamborghini Asterion at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este

Lamborghini made a full appearance over the weekend at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, one of the summer’s first and most notable events in the automotive world, and it was with their upcoming hybrid beast that they arrived.

We were first introduced to the Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4 on Oct. 1, 2014, at the Paris Motor Show, where it was announced that its electronically assisted hybrid powertrain is aiming to create 910 hp, a solid increase from the Porsche 918 Spyder’s 887 hp and just a few shy of Ferrari LaFerrari’s 949 hp. You can read the full breakdown of its technical specifications in our Oct. 7 article.

The example brought to the Villa d’Este showed in a stunning blue, and was perfectly complemented by the light green of the Miura sitting by its side. Photos shared on Lamborghini’s Facebook page May 25 show the two at the event, as well as a few close up shots of the Asterion’s stunning features.
