Lamborghini Squadra Corse Receives An ISO 20121 Certification For Sustainability

Lamborghini’s sustainability efforts come with the brand all the way to the track.

Lamborghini’s Cor Tauri plan lays out the brand’s future goals for a sustainable, environmentally Fighting Bull, and Lamborghini’s Motorsport department isn’t an exception. With a detailed program meant for the Misano stage that includes energy-efficiency projects, reduction of paper and plastic consumption, and other sustainability efforts that consider every aspect of the race weekend.

As a result, Lamborghini Squadra Corse received ISO 20121 certification from TÜV Italia, which means that TÜV’s criteria when it comes to environmental, social, and economic sustainability have been followed in the organization of the event. This certification comes just in time for the third round of the Super Trofeo Europe championship. This continues a series of certifications Lamborghini has received since 2014, including an ISO 9001 certification for Lamborghini Squadra Corse in 2016. Along with this certification, the Pirelli tires used in the races are sent for material and energy recovery as part of both Lamborghini and Pirelli’s sustainability efforts.
