Automobili Lamborghini is marking its 60th anniversary in a spectacular fashion by unveiling the new Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’ during Art Basel 2023 in Miami. This one-of-a-kind artwork represents a fusion of artistic vision and automotive expertise, showcasing a highly customized Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). The creative project came from a collaborative effort between Centro Stile and Lamborghini’s Ad Personam team. The Revuelto was launched earlier this year as a means of redefining the supercar industry with its new architecture, combining innovative design, cutting-edge aerodynamics, and a groundbreaking carbon frame concept. Showcasing over 1,001 horsepower, the Revuelto delivers exceptional agility and effectiveness on the road and track.
Lamborghini has always been a pioneer in color innovation, and the ‘Opera Unica’ is no exception. Its hand-painted exterior transitions beautifully from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene, trimmed with intricate brushstrokes in warm and cool shades. This intricate process added 76 hours of development and testing, resulting in 435 hours to execute. A discrete 60th-anniversary logo is displayed on the hood, adding a touch of commemoration. The interior mirrors the exterior’s artistic flair, with an asymmetric design playing with colors to create a one-of-a-kind cabin. Taking an additional 220 hours to complete, the two-tone leather interior in Nero Ade and Viola Acutus is complemented by seat backrests, door inserts, and headliners embroidered with the 60th-anniversary logo, reflecting the exterior’s color palette. The start and stop cover also features shaded brushstroke colors, elevating the car’s artistic appeal.
This evening, the Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’ will be showcased in Miami Beach at a launch event, accompanied by a selection of artworks commissioned by Automobili Lamborghini America dealers, celebrating six decades of the brand’s innovative and artistic journey in the automotive world.
