The New Lamborghini “The Engine Songs V8” Spotify Playlist Celebrates The Urus Performante

Lamborghini’s latest powertrain can be music to your ears.

The introduction of the Lamborghini Urus marked a turning point for the brand, as it saw the introduction of a twin-turbocharged V8 engine to the brand’s lineup of powerplants. In its short time within Lamborghini’s lineup, the Urus has achieved an incredible reputation with its popularity, performance, and Lamborghini luxury and style. The introduction of the Urus S and Urus Performante this year opens the next chapter for the Super SUV’s legacy, and as Lamborghini celebrates its cars and their engines at this critical time in the brand’s history, the V8 is honored with one of Lamborghini’s Engine Songs Spotify playlists.

The playlists are created by scientifically breaking down the engine note using artificial intelligence until musical notes can be discerned, with a process similar to the one the human brain does with sounds. After that, the notes are matched to curated songs, which musically take the listener on a journey from idling to cruising, and eventually to the high RPM of performance driving. Lamborghini describes the V8 as “rhythmical and deep,” relating its note to the sound of drums. The twin-turbo V8 is paired with songs like “Un Gitano Perdido” by Gabriel Dominguez, “Boogie Fever,” and “Is My Love Enough?” by White Lies. In the new “The Engine Songs: Let’s Talk V8” video interview about the playlist, music producer Alex Trecarichi and Mauro Mautone, vehicle coordinator for Lamborghini NHV, talk about driving the Urus Performante with its curated songs in the background, and in turn show that the playlist, like the Super SUV itself, uses technology, science, and engineering to cultivate passion.
