Lamborghini has a history of naming their cars after famous bulls, and they didn’t stop with the new Urus. Continuing Lamborghini’s tradition is the Urus, the Italian automaker’s new super SUV.
This new model was named after, unsurprisingly, the Urus, a large and wild ancestor of the domestic cattle we see today. The Lamborghini Urus name meaning was also known as Aurochs, but Lamborghini went with the former for the name of their SUV. While the Urus is not technically a Spanish fighting bull, it’s very similar in appearance to the bulls you’ll find fighting.
