As the world revs up for the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, all eyes are on the Lotus marque, making its largest appearance yet. Lotus will showcase its full range of cars – the Eletre, Emira, and Evija – all set to captivate tens of thousands of performance car enthusiasts. This year, Lotus marks its 75th anniversary in an unprecedented manner. A significant highlight of the festival will be the ‘Lotus Moment’, a unique parade of Lotus cars, both past and present. This parade is a fitting tribute to the brand’s storied legacy and will be a special treat for those in attendance.

Among the models being showcased, the Eletre is one of the most anticipated. This all-electric SUV will make a dynamic debut at the Festival. With its blend of practicality, versatility, and signature Lotus design DNA, it targets a new generation of Lotus customers. Visitors can expect to see the Eletre’s advanced all-electric powertrain and driver-focused tech being demonstrated twice a day by Lotus’ Customer Experience team.

Notably, the Goodwood Festival of Speed also serves as a platform for the public debut of the 2.0-litre four-cylinder Emira, marking the expansion of the Emira range. The four-cylinder Emira’s customer deliveries will commence later this year, marking an important moment in the history of the brand as the Emira will be Lotus’ last gasoline-powered car.

Fans will have the chance to witness the Eletre, Emira, Emira V6, and the electric hypercar Evija in action at the iconic Hill Climb. Mike Johnstone, Group Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer of Lotus, reflects on the brand’s significant presence this year, stating that the current range stands as a tribute to everything that’s come before.

Lastly, aside from the adrenaline-fueled Hill Climb, the Lotus stand will serve as a hub of activity throughout the weekend. This includes a live Q&A session with Jenson Button on Saturday, who will also be driving a Lotus Evija at the Hill Climb. Additionally, the festival will host live recordings of The Smoking Tire podcast and daily presentations of the Eletre’s advanced audio system by experts from KEF.

This year, Lotus marks its anniversary by embracing the future while paying tribute to its past. Its bold display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023 promises to embody the transformation of the Lotus brand and offers an electrifying experience for every car enthusiast in attendance.
