Lotus has just released a new video showing the Evija, giving us the first chance to see it in action. The car being used in the video is Lotus’ engineering prototype #2.
The Lotus Evija will now be undergoing dynamic testing at various circuits across Europe, including Hethel UK, Lotus’ home. These tests and some static tests will allow Lotus to push the Evija towards the expectations they created when the hypercar was debuted.
“Physical prototype testing at speed is a landmark moment for the Evija and hugely exciting for everyone involved,” says Gavan Kershaw, Director of Vehicle Attributes, Lotus Cars. “Our aim is to make sure it’s a true Lotus in every sense, with exceptional performance that’s going to set new standards in the hypercar sector.”
