The world of racing in esports is growing even more as Jenson Button has joined the McLaren Customer Racing Team in the 2020 SRO E-Sport GT Series. Button will be driving the virtual wheel of a McLaren 720S GT3 race car. This new virtual racing series is set to begin this Sunday, April 26 utilizing the Assetto Corsa Competizione racing simulation game. The 5-round series will have three different classes competing in different races. You can watch the opening round this Sunday at 7:35 AM EST. It will begin with one-hour races for the Pro and Silver series. Livestreams of the race will be found on the GT World YouTube and Dailymotion accounts, as well as the SRO Motorsports Twitch and Facebook pages.
