McLaren 675LT In Detail at McLaren Newport Beach

The new McLaren 675LT is the lightest and most powerful model in the automaker’s Super Series. Its name resurrects the ‘Longtail’ moniker, which was first used for the 1997 McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail.’

Our friends at McLaren Newport Beach recently had the chance to photograph a 675LT finished in Chicane Grey. In the photos, we get an in-depth view of the car from the inside out.

You get a chance to see the 3.8-liter V8 engine that generates 666 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. This engine is similar to the one found in the 650S, but more than 50 percent of the vehicle is comprised of new parts, including new turbos, modified cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds, new camshaft and connecting rods and a “faster-flowing” fuel pump and delivery system.
