McLaren’s latest supercars are set to wow Monterey Car Week this year.
The automotive world is buzzing with excitement as this year’s Monterey Car Week is quickly approaching. Whether it’s for the latest and greatest supercars and hypercars, ultra-rare and opulent luxury vehicles, or cherished and beautifully preserved classics, Monterey Car Week’s various events showcase the highest echelon of the automotive world, making the week one of the most anticipated and exclusive events on the annual automotive calendar.
This year, McLaren is bringing an exciting presence to Monterey Car Week, showing off its incredible new halo hypercar, as well as a unique version of its current flagship supercar, the 750S. The new McLaren W1, which continues the legacy that was previously carried by the F1 and the P1, features an incredible hybrid powertrain with over 1,000 horsepower and groundbreaking engineering, giving it the role of writing the next chapter of McLaren’s racing and performance innovation.
The new hypercar is making its debut in the Americas during Monterey Car Week, specifically at the Exotics on Broadway event on Saturday, August 16. Meanwhile, McLaren is also showcasing the new 750S Le Mans, a special edition of the new flagship supercar from McLaren, the 750S that celebrates the 30th anniversary of the brand’s incredible victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995, at Exotics on Broadway, as well. The car’s special colors, wheels, and High-Downforce Kit pays homage to the legendary race-winning car.
Alongside both new vehicles at Exotics on Broadway will be a States of Endurance McLaren Artura Spider, part of an effort to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the victory by driving McLarens from Monterey to Miami, covering roughly the distance of the victorious 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans run, which will be kicked off at Monterey Car Week. With a new hypercar masterpiece and decades of racing legacy to celebrate, Monterey Car Week will be extra special for McLaren this year.
