Aimed at U.S. buyers, their latest press release hails from Atlanta instead of Affalterbach. In it we have the confirmation of the most powerful AMG V8 ever offered. Their first production flat-plane crank offers 720 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm. It allows for a sustained top speed of 202 mph while the ball-bearing suspension refuses to flinch. The car’s aerodynamics and cooling systems are nearly identical to the GT3 and GT4 programs so you might expect a steep price.
