55 years of one of the greatest houses of German performance is undoubtedly something to celebrate.

Starting as a two-man startup in Affalterbach, Germany, AMG in only 55 years became an international symbol for incredible craftsmanship and the beautiful marriage of the best in automotive luxury and performance. With decades worth of dialed-up Mercedes-Benz models under its belt, as well as timeless grand tourers that pay homage to the brand’s history like the Mercedes-AMG GT and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the AMG name is prolific in the automotive world, and its impact even beyond Mercedes-Benz is undeniable, with brands like Pagani and Lotus using AMG’s powerful engines in their own iconic cars.

The model celebrates AMG’s past, and heralds its future, with cars like the upcoming All-Electric Mercedes-AMG G Class, and record sales performance in the past year of 145,979 vehicle deliveries. AMG’s first 55 years were incredible, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
