We don’t know what it is yet. We don’t know what it looks like, what’s under the hood or what fabric covers the seats. We do know that it’s fast.
Teased on YouTube July 7 and on the Mercedes-AMG Facebook today is, well, something.
“Something fast has hit the track,” describes the Facebook gallery’s caption. “Something Fast is coming,” states the video’s description. “Watch it go – soon.”
We can hear the engine upshift, and we can see the wheels, the camo, a hint of the front, the AMG driver behind the wheel and the burnt rubber on the track.
The distance between the grille and front wheels is much shorter than usual for AMG designs, making us believe that the entire wheelbase is shortened from the usual formula. We can guess that its an advancement of the tech developed for the AMG GT S, but we can’t say for certain.
