A legend in versatile mobility turns 30.
Mercedes-Benz is known for its compelling and diverse lineup of luxury vehicles, including luxury passenger cars and models that provide enhanced performance or ultra-luxury appointments via AMG and Maybach. However, one of the most important aspects of Mercedes-Benz as a manufacturer is its Van business, with various models that showcase versatility and the ability to be a blank canvas for a wide range of purposes for drivers and owners.
The most iconic model in the Mercedes-Benz van lineup is the Sprinter, which has showcased the ability to work for small businesses, executives, adventurers, and more. First debuted in 1995, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is celebrating its 30th anniversary as one of the manufacturer’s most important and versatile models, with the manufacturer on track to surpass five million Sprinters sold in 2025.
To celebrate the 30-year legend of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, the model will be the subject of a new exhibition at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, set to be displayed from February 4 to March 30. The display will feature the first-generation Mercedes-Benz Spritner next to the current fourth-generation Sprinter model, along with the electric eSprinter.
In addition, visitors will receive a special gift with their admission for the 30th anniversary, and a pop-up at the museum shop will feature Sprinter-themed merchandise. While it’s a far cry from the Mercedes-Benz luxury lineup that typically takes the spotlight, the 30th anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is an important milestone for a legendary vehicle with incredible versatility and capability.
