Celebrate the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and its 40th Anniversary

This year, Mercedes-Benz is celebrating the G-Class and its 40th anniversary. It was back in February 1979 that Mercedes unveiled the 460 model series G-model for the very first time. Since that fateful unveiling, the G-Class has been a staple in the German automaker’s lineup. It has seen changes and variants over the past four decades, but the overall DNA of the model has remained the same.
