Mercedes-Benz’s latest addition to its SUV lineup is shocking.
Mercedes-Benz has been steadily rolling out new electric vehicles with a new all-electric EQ platform, and all of them have shown off high-tech luxury, innovation, efficiency, and style. The fourth model to be introduced based on the EQ platform is the new EQE SUV, which like its EQE sedan counterpart, is smaller and nimble than its EQS siblings, while still offering lots of luxury, power, style, and efficiency. The new EQE SUV features lots of amazing technology, boasting a 342-mile range, a Dolby Atmos-equipped Burmester sound system, over-the-air updates including for the battery management software to ensure optimal efficiency throughout the vehicle’s lifetime, and a new “Serene Breeze” soundscape, which takes full advantage of the change from combustion engines to electric power with an audible reminder of the technology at the driver’s fingertips.

Simultaneously introduced with the EQE SUV is the Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV, Affalterbach’s performance-ready rendition of the all-electric luxury SUV. It’s Mercedes-AMG’s first all-electric SUV, and Mercedes-Benz says that it’s the “most versatile electric vehicle” that AMG offers. With high performance and luxury along with ample space for passengers and luggage, the new Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV is quite the dynamic vehicle. The exterior features a sportier design, with AMG signatures like the iconic vertical grille, of course as a panel in the front fascia of the all-electric model, as well as AMG-specific wheels and other touches throughout. The interior follows the same brief, with a flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel, sports pedals, AMG-specific floor mats, and other small touches.
However, the bite of this electric luxury performance SUV matches its bark. A total of 677 horsepower, when the vehicle is equipped with the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package with Boost function, coming from the dual-motor drivetrain ensures staggering performance, and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive makes sure that that power gets onto the road in the most clever, efficient, and easy-to-enjoy way possible. The MBUX Hyperscreen in the new Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV offers AMG-specific functions, like access to AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving programs for a more exhilarating experience at your fingertips. With other features like active damping in the suspension, rear-axle steering, active roll stabilization, and more, the new Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV makes it possible to say the words “luxury,” “performance,” “electric,” “practical,” and “SUV” all in the same sentence.
