For Mercedes-Benz, the year starts off with improvement.

Mercedes-Benz has been one of the most important names in the automotive world for just about as long as the automotive industry has been around. With a reputation for delivering desirable luxury and style, its lineup today boasts a diverse portfolio, ranging from sharp compacts to sumptuous sedans, off-road-ready SUVs, high-performance AMG models, and more. With Mercedes-Benz USA’s first-quarter results in for 2024, that diverse lineup is proving to continue contributing towards the historic manufacturer’s success, as Mercedes-Benz is reporting sales growth overall, as well as within the various segments of product categories its offers.

Overall, with 82,623 vehicles group sales in the quarter, Mercedes-Benz USA enjoyed a 5% improvement in sales compared to the same period last year. Specifically, “Top End” offerings like the G-Class and Maybach lineup grew by 6% and 9% respectively, while the Core segment grew by 40% and one of the Entry segment’s most important models, the GLB, grew in sales by 46%. Mercedes-Benz USA has good news to share on the electrification front, as well, as its EV segment, compared to Q1 2023, saw a 13% sales increase in the first quarter of 2024.

With a diverse lineup boasting luxury, style, performance, and practicality, Mercedes-Benz continues to be one of the automotive world’s strongest manufacturers, and so far, 2024 seems to be no exception to the historic brand’s successful reputation. As the year continues, Mercedes-Benz looks forward to continue innovating and pushing the luxury automotive world forward.
