Mercedes-Benz USA looks back on a successful first quarter.
The first quarter of 2025 is over, and as one of the most important and celebrated titans in the luxury automotive industry, Mercedes-Benz USA is reporting an exciting sales success for the quarter, with growth in the number of cars sold, with hybrid models, as well as AMG models serving as important contributors to the historic brand’s success in the period.
In Q1 2025, 67,400 Mercedes-Benz passenger cars were sold in total, representing an increase of 1 percent compared to the same quarter of 2024. Thanks to a burgeoning availability of plug-in hybrid models, sales of PHEVs in the Mercedes-Benz lineup increased in the quarter, compared to Q1 2024, by a massive 400 percent. In addition, the sales of Mercedes-AMG models increased by 13 percent during the quarter, with the popular GLC SUV contributing as well by nearly doubling its sales during the quarter.
All segments of Mercedes-Benz’s passenger car lineup, Top End, Core, and Entry, saw success and growth during the quarter. Models like the CLA and GLA increased in sales by 103 percent and 11 percent. With an incredibly diverse luxury lineup, the historic brand that is Mercedes-Benz enjoyed a successful start to 2025 in the United States.
