From four wheels to four legs, Mercedes-Benz takes part in April Fools’ Day.
While April Fools’ Day often keeps us all on our toes during a day packed with pranks, Mercedes-Benz is celebrating the antics by launching MBUX ‘Bark’ Assist for dogs today. The addition to the Mercedes Intelligent Cloud is a pet’s gateway to becoming a co-pilot. By decoding dog barks, the system lets four-legged friends interact with the car, turning things like the choice of music or the car’s temperature into a bark.
Imagine road-tripping in your Mercedes-AMG GT or G63 AMG 4×4 Squared while your dog is DJing or adjusting the AC. That’s the kind of next-level convenience we expect for the future of mobility. Beyond the cool factor, MBUX Voice Assistant already makes the car feel like a smart home on wheels with an almost infinite list of functionalities. Available only on April 1, 2024, MBUX Bark Assist is Mercedes-Benz’s way of saying they’re serious about innovation, combining technology with a touch of humor to keep both drivers and their pets happy on the road.
