The most noticeable change about the newly updated Formula eBike is the frame’s matte black finish and ‘Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team’ logo, made from a lightweight yet durable Aluminum 6061. Ensuring a comfortable ride no matter the distance, the Formula E Team eBike includes a set of paint-matched 700cc alloy wheels with puncture-resistant tires. A hidden single 36v battery acts as the power source and holds a 43.5-mile capacity at full charge, with a speedy 100% recharge time of 3.5-hours. Just as every Mercedes-Benz is built with functionality and reliability in mind, the eBike’s carbon drive belt proves to be maintenance-free for 20,000-miles. The state-of-the-art drivetrain achieves a top speed of 20mph and generates 25% more torque than the previous generation. A heads-up digital gauge allows riders to track crucial information during a ride while integrating other security features.
