Watch a 2022 Mini Electric Pacesetter Race a Subway Train in Milan

Size isn’t everything when it comes to safety

Setting the pace is critical to keeping the marshals, spectators, and drivers safe. If you missed out on this weekend’s Formula E race in Rome, we have a few details of the 2022 Mini Electric Pacesetter. Inspired by the high performance Minis offered by John Cooper Works, it can leap to 62 mph in 6.7 seconds.

In order to show the world what it is capable of, a test race was arranged against against a subway train in Milan. Charlie Cooper got behind the wheel because he knows a thing or two about the brand. As the grandson of John Cooper, he lives and breathes fast Minis.
