Get ready for monstrous motorbike fun.

Ducati’s Monster bike has a winning formula: a lightweight form, a sporty engine, and a superbike-like frame, making for a bike that is fun and versatile, and of course, as stylish as any Ducati should be. Now, Ducati is upping the ante as the brand has announced in the second episode of the Ducati World Première web series 2023 that a new version of the Monster is coming: the Monster SP. It’s the new pinnacle version of the Monster, and it features improvements and additions that cater to sporty riding.

The first thing you’ll notice is a new livery that is inspired by MotoGP, and it’s the intensity of MotoGP that inspires the Monster SP, with a 111-horsepower liquid-cooled 4-valve twin engine, and a front frame inspired by Ducati’s Panigale V4. Compared to the normal Monster, the SP shaves over 4 pounds off the total weight, and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires represent Ducati’s flagship offering when it comes to sporty road-bike riding. The new Ducati Monster SP will be available in U.S. Ducati dealerships starting February 2023, and it will be available in Canada starting in March. In the States, the starting MSRP of the bike is $15,595 and in Canada, it will be $18,295 CAD.
