New Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition Celebrates The Heritage of Two Iconic Brands

Swiss watches meet British bikes. It doesn’t get any better.

While motorcycles and watches are very different, both are machines that have the potential to showcase amazing engineering prowess and stir excitement and joy in fans and enthusiasts, let alone owners. That’s why when Triumph, the brand that makes classic and iconic British motorcycles, partnered with Breitling, a Swiss watchmaker geared toward pilots and established in 1884 to make both a collaborative motorbike and watch, the hype was a given.

That hype, however, is well deserved. The Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition is a bike that even before getting the Breitling treatment, is a great bike. With 98 horsepower coming from its 270-degree crank parallel twin engine, and going through a 6-speed gearbox, it’s a bike that will evoke the classic fun of motorcycling while delivering modern performance. With the Breitling edition, however, you also get a classic color, matched to the 1951 Triumph Thunderbird, which also matches the exclusive Breitling Triumph Edition Watch, which is finished in the same blue and black color scheme as the motorcycle. To honor the 270-degree engine, there will only be 270 Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition bikes made, which makes its coveted status and exclusivity the icing on the cake.
