With just 106 made during its short production run, the 2020 McLaren Speedtail is one of the British carmaker’s rarest vehicles. It draws inspiration from the McLaren F1 as well as many of the brand’s famous Long Tail variants. Its main goal was to achieve the highest top speed possible, topping out at 250 mph. A highly modified version of the 720S’ M840T twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 powers it and delivers 1,035 horsepower and 848 pound-feet of torque.
Like the McLaren F1 that inspired it, the Speedtail features a central driving position flanked by two seats on either side. Two interior screens replace traditional door mirrors as they display a live feed from the car’s retractable cameras.
This example is listed for sale by Canepa out of Scotts Valley, CA, and shows just 175 miles on the clock. It is also the only Speedtail to feature a Stealth Gray Metallic exterior finish with a Saddle Aniline leather interior, making it a genuinely bespoke hypercar.
