When it comes to renowned musicians, athletes, and celebrities who share a passion for cars, the common guilty pleasure is filling garage spaces with some of the most exclusive and expensive rides. While most choose to purchase their latest and greatest supercars from the dealership, others find themselves connected to a specific era and style of automobiles that represents a special moment in time. For American rapper, actor, and television host Vanilla Ice, this is especially true for his jaw-dropping collection that resides in sunny South Florida. The entertainment specialists at VLADTV recently visited Vanilla Ice at his collector garage for an interview and tour of the cars he’s acquired over the years.

If you remember turning up the volume when “Ice Ice Baby” came on the radio, then you probably know what car steals the show in a room full of museum-grade examples. Vanilla Ice’s white 1989 Ford Mustang 5.0 remains one of the most influential cars in entertainment history, after gracing the award-winning song with a feature in the music video. The custom Mustang convertible has featured some upgrades since its initial stardom, both elevating its output to over 1,100 horsepower and value to $3 million. The custom category continues with Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy’s famous Cadillac DeVille and a hand-built ‘VanillaDeVille’ lowrider with actual 18k gold accents.

With an appreciation for matching-number, collector-grade classics, Vanilla Ice’s garage showcases some incredible examples that remain in the same factory condition as they did leaving the production line decades ago. Alongside an original 1918 Oldsmobile that he occasionally drives at 55+mph, a number 1 red 1954 Chevrolet Corvette, Dale Earnhardt Sr.’s ‘Saturday Night Special’ race car, and Dean Martin’s number 1 Lincoln Continental. Only scratching the surface of the 31-car collection, Vanilla Ice’s garage is also filled with two-wheel machines that commemorate his involvement in motorcross racing throughout his life. With so much history under one roof, it’s not surprising to hear that Vanilla Ice’s entire lineup is worth somewhere around $50+ million.
