It is hard to believe you can walk into any of our Audi dealers and buy a race car. It is true since the Audi R8 LMS won Nürburgring 2019. Manthey Racing led most of the day in their Porsche 911 GT3 R, but they were slapped with a 5-minute penalty with an hour to go.
This is what Team Phoenix needed to get their #4 Audi out front and keep it there. Audi Sport and Porsche are corporate cousins, but nothing is more divisive than racing at Germany’s most hallowed track.
