BMW Unveils Aerodynamic Wheels for the iX3

Engineers in South Carolina are working hard to make sure their first electric SUV is flawless. Planned to launch later this year, BMW has unveiled aerodynamic wheels for the iX3.

By combining cast aluminum with composite inserts, drag has been reduced by 5%, and the lighter weight will offer a comfortable ride. It has lowered power usage by 2% or 0.4 kWh per 62 miles.
