Highly-Optioned Ferrari F12tdf Heading to Monterey 2018

Mecum Auctions will be having a one-of-a-kind 2017 Ferrari F12tdf roll across their block at their Monterey 2018 auction. When it was first announced in 2015, the F12tdf was touted as the fastest, road-legal, front-engined Berlinetta. Only 799 of them were ever produced, so they’re each exclusive, but the one Mecum will be offering is highly optioned.

Compared to the F12berlinetta, the car the F12tdf was born from, its much more hardcore. Ferrari ensured that the F12tdf was more powerful, had all the technology they could fit into it and, of course, lighter. As for the power, Ferrari managed to squeeze out 40 more horsepower out of the 6.3-liter V12 engine, resulting in the total output of 769 hp. Additionally, Ferrari’s engineers modified the V12 engine so it would pump out 80 percent of its 520 lb-ft of torque at just 2,500 RPM, with maximum power coming in at 8,500 RPM. That’s enough power for a top speed of over 211 mph and a Fiorano test circuit lap that’s two seconds faster than the F12berlinetta and 488 GTB.

This specific F12tdf comes with just 446 miles clocked on its odometer, making it a close-to-new example. The owner opted for this Berlinetta to be finished in Grigio Ferraro with Rosso Scuderia stripes and, of course, Scuderia fender badges. It consists of over $104,000 in additional options that include carbon fiber trim pieces on the interior and exterior. There’s also the suspension lifter, colored seat belts, Adaptive Front Light system, front and rear parking cameras, and a whole lot more.
