Ferrari Outlines Reopening Procedures

Big automakers can ride out ripples in production, but the smaller ones are being hit hard. Last year was the first time they sold over 10,000 cars, so the workers in Maranello need to resume production to keep showrooms full of Scuderia Shields. With worker health being the top priority, Ferrari has outlined their reopening procedures. Last month we mentioned their target date of April 14th, and they have not deviated from that schedule.

In their latest Instagram post, we’ve learned the details of the plan: “The safety and well-being of our employees is our utmost priority. Upon reopening (in accordance with local legislation), we will implement our ‘Back on Track’ program in partnership with a pool of virologists and experts. Employees and their families, in addition to our suppliers, will have access to free testing, counseling, and monitoring in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. At Ferrari our most precious resource, people, always comes first.” The world is slowly getting back to normal, so we hope to report on similar news from other brands.
