One of the world’s largest industrial complexes, it was 1,100 acres during WWII. The plant has seen the production of the Model A to forty years of Mustangs, and Ford trucks since 1949. Having its own steel mill, iron ore comes in and trucks roll out.
On the assembly line, he was able to help the workers install antennas, bed cleats, and set screws as part of the finishing touches. The latest F-150 and Raptor trucks feature aluminum bodies. It allows them to be lighter and more corrosion resistant than the competition. The wonder metal requires a specially trained workforce to get ti right, so we’re glad Mark was able to show their abilities to the world.
