The purveyor of Italian automotive excellence is returning in full force.

Bizzarini was a brand known for its mid-century masterpieces like the stunning 5300 GT, but even before that, its founder, Giotto Bizzarini, was an engineer behind Italy’s greatest automotive names like Lamborghini and Ferrari. He is credited for playing key roles in achievements like the Ferrari 250 GTO, as well as for the original Lamborghini V12, and the impact that Giotto Bizzarini had on the legendary brand lasted all the way until the introduction of the Lamborghini Aventador, whose V12 finally replaced the unit in the Murcielago, which could then be traced to Lamborghini’s earliest roots.

However, the Bizzarini brand has been in relative dormancy for years, having returned in 2020 as a subsidiary of Pegasus brands, and with that return came the reveal of the 5300 GT Corsa Revival. However, Bizzaraini’s first new car under this new ownership, the Giotto, has now been revealed. Named after the brand’s founder, the new Bizzarini Giotto is stunningly penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro and his son Fabrizio, hearkening back to the role Giugiaro played in the design of the 5300 GT. The design of the carbon fiber body combines modern engineering with classic Bizzarini inspiration. To honor his connection with the V12 engine, the Giotto will be powered by a naturally-aspirated V12. Testing is said to begin in 2024 for the new Giotto, and Bizzaraini promises this modern revival to be rare, beautiful, and powerful.
