In an interview with Automotive News, GM President Mark Reuss says the updated software and sensors will integrate automatic lane changes. Instead of relying solely on the car’s interpretation of traffic around it, Cadillac has spent over a decade mapping every U.S. highway and Interstate with highly accurate LIDAR (Laser Radar).
