We are one week away from the IAA (Frankfurt Auto Show), and we know there will probably be a few wild cars revealed. Nevertheless, 2019 has seen some heavy hitters and incredible performance machines unveiled. So as we prepare for a Labor Day Hurricane, here are our top 10 favorite unveilings of 2019.
Porsche 911
While looks have only changed slightly, the 2020 Porsche Carrera is the introduction of the 8th Generation Porsche 911. The 2019 cars are the last of the 991.2 chassis, and it has been succeeded by the 992 chassis. So far, the Carrera, Carrera S, and Carrera 4S are available, and the progression to Targa, GTS, Turbo will ultimately yield the return of the GT2 and GT3 series. Well done Porsche!
Ferrari SF90

Mustang Shelby GT500
If you are noticing a theme, most of these cars are the most powerful models ever offered by their manufacturers. Nothing represents the power and expertise of the Ford Motor Company better than this beastly collaboration with Shelby American.
Corvette
Six decades in the making, Corvette has finally gone mid-engine. Zora Duntov was the first Corvette Chief Engineer, and a Porsche Werks Driver. He pleaded with GM to let him build a mid-engine Corvette, but the computers necessary to keep the average driver safe didn’t exist. Now Chevrolet has taken on the world for under $60,000.
Drako GTE
Drako Motors is a new venture based in Silicon Valley. Their claim is that the GTE is the “most powerful GT car ever made.” It has four electric motors and the ability to turn off the fronts if you want a perfect drift machine.
Bugatti Centodieci
You can’t deny the power and styling of the Bugatti EB110. That’s why this car is an homage to the hottest car of the 90’s. The price might surprise you!
Pagani Huayra BC Roadster
Benny Caiola encouraged his friend Horacio Pagani to pursue his dreams. Their friendship allowed Benny to purchase the first production Pagani, so their latest roadster was named in his honor.
Pininfarina Battista
Battery technology is advancing at a lightning pace, so this gorgeous Italian-German collaboration might be the most powerful production car ever offered.
Lotus Evija
Lotus builds electric cars? They do now! This masterpiece also has a massive battery and four electric motors, and it might beat the Pininfarina (at least on paper).
Koenigsegg Jesko
Christian von Koenigsegg and his team went back to the drawing board in their quest for 300 mph. What emerged is longer and wider than the Agera, and it has the world’s first 8-clutch transmission. Every aspect is nearly unbelievable, so he named it after his father.
