For 15 years it’s been Vesa Kivimäki’s dream to break the world record for the fast side wheelie in a car. To make his dream come true, he teamed up with tire manufacturer Nokian Tires to make the attempt happen.
Driving in a diesel BMW 330, Vesa set off down an airport runway in Seinäjoki, Finland. Looking to break the record that has been unbeaten for 19 years, he pushed the car in a way nobody has done before.
The result? A two-wheeled speed of 115.742 mph.
