We first saw the world’s meanest Pagani Zonda at Pebble Beach nearly a decade ago. Since then, a few of us wondered how it could be driven legally. Going downtown on a Friday night would be much more enjoyable in a carbo-triax monocoque that is infused with titanium.
While he was the Chief Engineer at Lamborghini, Mr. Pagani patented a slough of innovations relating to carbon fiber. All the best features of the 25th Anniversary Countach were made by him in small batches. Because the corporate overlords at Chrysler said no to innovation, he decided to build a car all his own, the Zonda. This being the most potent version, it offers 800 horsepower from a Mercedes-AMG V12. The price? Its expensive. Kudos to the team at The TFJJ for sharing this with us!
