However, the Pininfarina Battista, Pininfarina’s fully electric hyper GT which features Pininfarina’s signature stunning looks, and a similarly stunning 1,900 horsepower, has an innovative solution to the problem.

It’s called Suono Puro, and Pininfarina calls it “the sound of sustainable luxury.” Inspired by classical music and the 432 Hz A note known to be sonically pleasant, Suono Puro involves different sounds that correspond to the Battista’s different driving modes, and encourages driving pleasure for any mood. The sound is sent into the cabin of the car through a 10-speaker, 1,300-watt sound system from Naim to produce an elegant sound that drivers can enjoy in the same way as an internal combustion engine sound, communicating both high performance and relaxed luxury.
