In order to offer a perfect electric crossover, the 2022 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is testing around the world. Their latest press release likens their upcoming model as a “Swiss Army Knife on 21″ wheels”. As such, the camouflaged test mules are approaching 100,000 kilometers. Equivalent to 25 trips around the Equator, they have been heat and cold-soaked to punish the battery’s thermal system. The Taycan has separate cooling circuits for the motors, batteries, and the cockpit’s heater core, and the computer connects them to send heat where its needed.
