The Porsche 911 Sport Classic, in both its 2010 and 2022 iterations, is a modern 911 that looks back on and celebrates the 911’s long and legendary history and embodies everything that has made the 911 such a loved car for decades. Whether it’s the ducktail spoiler, the manual transmission, the vintage-inspired interior, or the retro-inspired wheels, the Sport Classic is a masterpiece that shows why the 911 has the legendary status that it does. However, Porsche made a car that, while related to the Sport Classic Cars, is a unique, one-off take on its idea: the Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe. The one-off is based on a 996-generation 911, the first to introduce the water-cooled engine and modern styling that radically changed the car, and it features the engine of its contemporary 911 GT3 and a six-speed manual transmission.

Also from the 996.2 GT3 is the car’s brakes and suspension, while its ducktail spoiler evokes early Rennsport models, and its interior features the classic Pepita houndstooth pattern in woven leather, evoking classic Porsche sports cars. This incredible car is a one-of-one, and it will go up for auction at the Porsche 75th Anniversary Auction celebrating an incredible 75 years of the Porsche brand and 60 years of the 911 at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The auction will be held by Broad Arrow Auctions from June 8 to June 10, and during that sale, this incredible collector’s masterpiece will meet its new owner.
