Why would anyone pit a Porsche 918 Spyder against the Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0? Because they can.
YouTuber PRonTheRoad recently filmed this very drag race and shared it with the world via YouTube Oct. 15. You can see this video right below.

The Diablo VT 6.0 was introduced right at the start of a new millennium, packing a massive V12 engine that produced 550 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. On the other side of the track, running alongside this Italian monster, is the 918 Spyder. Powering this hybrid hypercar is a 4.6-liter V8 engine that runs in cooperation with two electric motors, for a total output of 887 hp and 944 lb-ft of torque.
There’s most definitely a huge power gap between these two, but that still didn’t stop the drivers from facing off.
