Porsche shows off two new high-performance luxury sedans.
The Porsche Panamera has long been celebrated for its duality, able to shine as both a luxurious sedan and an engaging performance car. Its unique design and sporty ethos have made it an instantly recognizable icon and a steeple in Porsche’s lineup, and the new generation of the Panamera has brought its triumphant formula to the modern era. Now, even more variants have been introduced to the new Panamera generation, adding a new high-performance pinnacle to the already excellent luxury sedan model.
The two new models are the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and the Panamera GTS, adding more power, dynamics, and luxury to the new-generation Panamera lineup. Both powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the new most powerful Porsche Panamera available, while the Panamera GTS is an agile, exciting take on the luxury sedan.
In the Turbo S E-Hybrid, the engine alone is responsible for 591 horsepower, while the electric drive system contributes 187 horsepower, for a total of 771 horsepower. With 737 total lb/ft of torque, the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid improves by 81 horsepower and 96 lb/ft on its predecessor. The large luxury SUV will rocket from 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds and top at 202 mph. Highlighting its incredible new performance potential, the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid set a record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, completing a lap in 7:24.17 and improving the 2020 Panamera Turbo S time by over 5 seconds.
Features that set the new Turbo S E-Hybrid apart aesthetically include an available carbon fiber aero kit, which adds downforce and a sporty aesthetic, Turbonite finishes, Dark Bronze exhaust tips, and PCCB brake calipers in yellow or the signature E-Hybrid Acid Green.
Meanwhile, the new Porsche Panamera GTS baosts 493 horsepower, plenty to deliver a sporty, engaging driving experience. With 20 more horsepower than its predecessor, it gets from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. The GTS was also specifically designed to feature compelling sound and a sporty feeling behind the wheel, with specific design elements like Race-Tex and black accents to highlight its performance-oriented aesthetic.
Together, the new 2025 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and the new 2025 Porsche Panamera GTS are set to add more variety and thrill to the luxurious and engaging Porsche Panamera range, and they are expected to reach US Porsche dealers late in the first quarter of 2025. The 2025 Porsche Panamera GTS will carry a starting MSRP of $154,200, while the new 2025 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will start at $226,500.
